So, as the title reads, I have been working on a Pokemon hack (A hack of Ruby version, to be exact) and since this game is still in early production, I'd be more than happy to accept any suggestion you guys might have.

Hmm... it really depends on what you WANT in the game. Though maybe change Team Magma to Team Draco and Team Aqua to Team Blizzard or something. Or just erase one team entirely and have only the one.
Make your rival a total dumbass. That would be hilarious.

Well... Don't change their sprites, just their Pokemon.
Assuming you have (and know how to use) Text editor, changing their team names shouldn't be too hard.
As for dumbass, I meant really annoying, and obnoxious, so yes.

--UPDATE!--
Unfortunately, due to the lack of tiles in one area, Isle Delfino is bieng changed to that island that Destiny Deoxys took place in, *scratches head* just can't remember the name...
Other than that, the current starters are:
Bulbasaur, Totodile, Torchick.
And the last announcment fer today is;
I'm actaully EXPECTING people to hack my game, that's why soime areas are only accesable through wack through wallz.
